  2. HI Ahi, my name is Anika and I go to Paihia School. I really liked your recount about deconstruction because I love hot chips and bubbly drinks. When you described the things you smelt I felt like I was there because when you said I smelt the air and wood, I could imagine the smell of the wood. Did your construction recount take place at home?

  3. Hi Ahi my name is Jacob and I’m a year six student at Paihia School. You have a great post about your deconstructed recount. I haven’t done a recount in a while but I remember when we had to do imagery to help to describe my writing better. It sounded like you had a real good time.

    What were you building?

  4. Kia ora Ahi my name is Boston and I’m a year 7 student at Paihia School. I enjoyed reading your post about your deconstructed recount because I think it’s good that you were building because it is a good exercise. This post reminds me of when we had to help our father with clearing a section so we can make a house on that section.

    Was it fun building?

  5. Hi Ahi my name is Ebony and I am a year seven from Paihia School. I enjoyed reading about your deconstructed recount writing. I found it interesting about how much punctuation you used in your writing. It gave me a lot of information about what you are describing in your writing. It also wanted me to smell what you smelt. If you could ever write about something what would you write about?

  6. Kia ora Ahi, ko Ms Peters toku ingoa. Nō te kura o Ahipara ahau.
I enjoyed reading your Deconstructed recount. I like the way I could see the images you described in my mind. To be better than before (BTB) maybe you could add more detail by writing a paragraph for each sense and include an image. Keep up the good effort! Mā te wa, Ms Peters.
